BBQ Ribs

This is one of my go to dishes when I know I will not be having a lot time in the kitchen. This recipe is easy to make and it’s delicious it has become one of my family favorite to the point that I make this almost every week.

Trust me when I say, these ribs have come to stay specially since they are so tender they fall off the bone. Prep time is only 10 minutes place them in the oven and go do something else (laundry, clean the house or just sit and watch a movie). I serve them over white rice and vegetables, but my kids rather eat them with mash potatoes and broccoli.

Oven Baked BBQ Ribs

Theses ribs will make you lick your fingers because they are so tasty and tender they are falling off the bone. Easy and delicious dish.

Servings: 6 People


  • 4 lbs Baby back ribs
  • 1 Slice onion
  • 4 Cloves of garlic Crushed
  • 1 Tbsp Paprika
  • 1 Tbs Brown Sugar
  • 3/4 Tsp Garlic powder
  • 3/4 Tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 Tsp Black Pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 3/4 Cup Your Favorite BBQ sauce
  • 3/4 Cup Chili Sauce
  • 1/2 Cup Vinegar (anyone handy will work)


  • 1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
    2. Mix together all for the ingredients, except for the onion.
    3. Rinse ribs under warm water with the vinegar and blot dry with paper towels
    4. Massage the rub into the ribs. Then place ribs on cooking tray and cover with sliced onion. Seal with another piece of foil.
    5. Bake ribs for 2.5 hours. Be careful! when opening the foil, this is extremely HOT, use a folk to see if they are tender.
    6. Combine Rib BBQ Sauce ingredients together.
    7. Remove ribs and discard juices and onions. Generously Brush ribs with BBQ sauce.
    8. Broil over medium high heat 5-10 minutes.
