Keto Mozzarella Dough Bagel

Well since yesterday I was craving bread like crazy especially since my mother inlaw baked freshly toasted bread

My mouths just got watery of just thinking about it. Delicious!

But since I’m on keto I have decided to make my own especial bread and since baking is my thing I got to work.

And this is what I came up with

What you are going to need:

1.5 cups of Almond Flour

1 Tbsp Baking soda

2.5 cups of Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

3 Oz Cream Cheese

2 Large Eggs

Pinch of salt

That’s it those are all the ingredients for this basic bagel.

How To Get This Done

Preheat oven at 425F.

use a baking sheet/ aluminum pan and spray with olive oil or you can just use parchment paper that will do the trick.

Place all the dry ingredients together in a bowl and mix well.

On another bowl hopefully microwaveable place the mozzarella and cream cheese. I forgot to take a picture of this but will update when I do this again in 2 days.

Microwave for 2 minutes stirring on a 1-minute interval mix very well at the end to incorporate the cheese very well.

Add the flour mixture and the 2 eggs to the melted cheese mixture.

Ready to get your hands dirty? knead with your hands until the dough forms.

It will take a few minutes before the dough forms but as the cheese cools off it will take form.

It’s normal for your hands to be sticky.

Divide the dough into 6 parts and with your hands start rolling your bagels.

Place them on the baking pan for 12 minutes or until golden brown.

Once they are done they look like this.

A few things to consider:

This is a basic recipe meaning you can go crazy with this adjusting to your taste.

Many people love everything bagel, so just go to Walmart or order on amazon and get the everything bagel seasoning and added before you put it in the oven.

If you want to make this sweet just add 1/2 cup of your favorite sugar-free sweetener such as stevia, erythritol, monk fruit you get the idea. and sprinkle some cinnamon on top. And there you will have a totally different bagel.
